Two Day Event – Day 2 Swiss!

In addition to the separate Sunday TCG League Challenge and Video Game Midseason Showdown, the TCG State Championship will provide a Day 2 Swiss (T32) for any age division with 227 or more players!

How to Participate

  1. Get your PlayerID handy (or get a new one)
  2. Buy your ticket or premium entry package online
  3. Present your ticket (paper or app) at the door by 8:45 April 9
  4. Turn in your Standard Deck List in the 9am Players Meeting

Venue: MTG Deals

136 S San Gabriel Blvd
San Gabriel, CA 91776

  • Doors open 8am, Saturday April 9th.
  • Parking on streets and, per MTGDeals, at nearby Shakey’s lot
  • MTGDeals is also the exclusive vendor at this event – they buy your bulk cards & singles, too!

Tickets: Online Only – http://secondcitygym.eventbrite.com

Your Regular or Premium Package ticket for the TCG State Championship is available exclusively online from http://secondcitygym.eventbrite.com. We are doing this because the venue capacity (320) is less than the attendance for this year’s TCG at Regional (436) – we don’t want anyone to show up and be turned away. If you have your ticket, you have a seat.

Premium Package – includes admission, Mega Scizor playmat, 3 packs, bottle of water and fixed table location throughout the event. Fixed location means you will have a special lettered table and your opponent will see your name as, for example: TABLE A – Jose Smythe. You stay at your table throughout the event, and your opponents come to you. Two fixed location opponents paired together will play at the highest ranked players table.

In the unlikely event tickets are available at the door, you will still need to purchase them from Eventbrite.

Deck List: Pre-print or Pre-write For Raffle

Use the Standard Format list provided by Pokemon or the PokeGym Decklist Builder to print your decklist in advance and you may be rewarded! Raffle prize winners will be randomly drawn from these deck lists. You can make a few neat changes to your pre-printed or pre-written list at the event if needed!

Deck lists will be available at the event but those will be marked ineligible for raffle prizes. You can even use notebook paper, but NO decklist that isn’t 8.5×11 paper will be accepted.
