City Championship 2014-2015 Prizing Post

Play for a Pack

We like to reward players who do well. We also like to give everyone who attends a shot at prizes. To get at both these goals, we’ve instituted a new prize for the last round: Play for a Pack! This means whether you’ve done well, or done poorly, if you’re still playing in the last round you can win! Hate ties? We’re working around those, too. Here are the rules:

  1. Play out the last round (no pack for Intentional Draws; no Concessions before time)
  2. Winner takes the Phantom Forces pack.
  3. No winner? Player that took the most prizes wins the pack.
  4. Tied on prizes? Player that won the flip takes the pack.

At most events this will mean a box or more of the latest set added to the prize pool.

Standard Pokemon Prizing

Prizes are awarded to the top players in each of three age divisions.

Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached, and must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn points.
